The South African actress Charlbi Dean, who gained notoriety this year for her role as a prominent fashion influencer in the Triangle of Sadness, which won the Palme d'Or, has passed away.
She was 32.
Dean passed away on Monday at a hospital in New York City from an illness that her representative described as unexpectedly sudden.
Dean appeared in two additional seasons as the assailant.
